WHY YOUR VOTE COUNTS
November 3rd General Election
Our vote is of importance solely because locally elected officials polices directly effect the lives of our community.It's never been more of a necessity to unify and be apart of historical change that will greatly influence the lives of all citizens of Dauphin county.Our failing public school system, unemployment rate, influx in homelessness, and crime escalation all are factors of systemic failure. The high concentration of poverty, limited education and the ignorance plaguing or communities stagnates social prosperity and economic growth. These factors will always be a reflection of our political leadership. Change is only possible if our community registers to vote and unify collectively at the polls. We are obligated to hold our leaders accountable. No longer should our voices be silenced or ignored. Voting is a right afforded to us by our United States Constitution that should be exercised with due diligence and rationale. This "Right" protects the quality of life and the interest of the public. "WE THE PEOPLE POSSES THE POWER"
ISSUES & POLITICAL CONCERNS
Kevin Maxson has many core concerns that greatly effect our community. Such as Education and Curricular Productivity, Fair and Affordable Housing, Economic and Social Equality, Water Filtration and Treatment Revitalization, Probation, Parole and Prison Reform, Protecting 2nd Amendment Rights and Protecting the safety of our communities with rationale.
UNEMPLOYMENT
Kevin Maxson believes there should be equal opportunity to employment and financial stability within every community. Our work force is the building blocks to structural integrity within our society. That's why its imperative that every able bodied citizen is afforded the opportunity to provide for his/her home and family.
PRISON REFORM
As your 103rd District State Representative I've established an ambitious plan to push for Prison, Parole and Probation Reform. This is a very serious issue that has been impacting citizens nationwide. Our leadership has been designated to address this issue head on, and rally the bipartisan support needed to enact change.
EDUCATION
Our public schools should be diverse in culture, and ethnic history. Education is an issue that needs to be addressed to facilitate a resolution for a failing system. I wish to institute a definitive plan to establish productivity and economic stability by reforming our youths curriculum. My concerns include smaller classroom occupancy, teacher pay raises and funding for a more eclectic curriculum. Instituting cultural diversity classes, home economics, sexual education and parental courses, drug prevention and mental health counseling, vocational trades and business/entrepreneurship, tax, finance and paralegal training.
